Howard praises centrelink tampering response he received from then treasurer Ben Wyatt

Senator John Alexander, the then shadow treasurer, told Channel Seven News there was no way the cash would not be used for other purposes.

“There’s no doubt in my mind there will be some use of this money that will be quite significant when you look at the amount of money that went into Centrelink in the first year of implementam 카지노tion,” he said.

“If you have the same level of scrutiny, you can’t possibly know what that’s going to cost the economy in the future as we’ve been able to learn in this deba부천안마te.”

When asked if the money could have been better used for infrastructure improvements or the needy, Senator Alexander said he didn’t believe it was used for any of the above.

“The Government has never accepted there is a problem with Centrelink, or they would not do that, but we had to have a review,” he said.

“It was just an opportunity to say how they are using it and who has used it.

“I didn’t think we had a good enough evidence base to say ‘oh I can’t believe that Centrelink would be using that money to do this or do that’.”

At the time, the Government insisted the spending of the $2.7bn earmarked for the government’s flagship health reforms went towards “reducing, simplifying and reducing costs for Australians and their families”.

But the ABC has reported over $2.6bn is already spent on these services, much of it on improving Centrelink’s services.

Mr Hunt later told the ABC’s 7.30 program that he understood the “controversy over how Centrelink spent money” but defended the figures, saying the spending was still just under the $2.7 billion in cuts that Mr Wyatt had previously indicated were necessary.

He said it wasn’t just his budget that would suffer from the increase in spending.

“The Government’s record, and this is a big Government, is they have cut $2.7 billion, they’re using less money and there is no doubt in my mind it will cause hardship for the taxpayer,” he said.

Senator Alexander said Mr Wyatt’s comments had already been shown to be untrue, so if he really believed the budget was “haunted” it was time for his former party to come clean on the facts.

“We우리 카지노 knew at the time that all of that was wrong,” he sai
